COMMITTEES

Membership Committee

The membership committee focuses on strengthening fellowship and oversees activities, benefits and services that enhance the value of Rotaract membership to existing members and entices new members to join the organization. This includes such tasks as welcoming new members at monthly membership meetings, organizing membership drives and promoting the club.

Community / International Service Committee

Local community service is one of the central activities of Rotaract. The goal of the community service committee is to oversee the community service events that Rotaract is involved in.  Rotaract is very involved in the community, participating in multiple events throughout the year.  Rotaract also focuses some of their efforts each year on international services.  Some of the activities include helping Habitat for Humanity, St. Anthony’s Hospice and Rotary.

Social Committee

The social committee ensures that Rotaract has events that are not always formal meetings.
The committee regularly organizes activities with broad-based appeal where members can network and socialize in an informal setting. Events include things like dinner, bowling and other outings.

Professional Development Committee

Professional development is one of the main focal areas of Rotaract. This committee expands the members’ understanding of the work environment and business opportunities within the community.  They identify professional development activities for Rotaract members to participate in and also schedule speakers to speak at each monthly meeting.
